Excellent article, best account of the show I've read. Having been there with my brother and my Dad (who is actually pictured in the photo credited to Sabrina Ramos, he's on the right wearing sunglasses) I can safely say HELL YES to what I've read. I was right there on the edge of the gate, in the centre – thrashing my heart, brains and soul out for those girls and their unreal band. I was spellbound, it was call and answer, sing along, dance along, thrash along with the kitsune up. I couldn't take my eyes or ears away from them for a second, my focus was held. I am a big fan and have been for some time now, but it was my first time seeing Babymetal live and it was worth every cent, worth waking at 6 AM, walking to the island and waiting in line since 8 AM to be at the foot of the stage. When Babymetal death began it's church-like chant and the metal storm hit, I got teary-eyed as the girls walked onstage, it was just that epic. Though I do agree it was odd for them not to have performed Headbangya, seeing them was a life-changing experience, and I hope to do it again very soon. A welcome bonus was my fortune in catching Yuya Maeta's second drumstick, and it is shredded beyond belief. For anyone who has not had the pleasure of joining the Kitsune following, give it a shot, it's just so damn fun, they rock. Thank you for the excellent article, it brought back great memories of last weekend, a day many will surely not forget.
