There have been so many lineup changes in the past month, I can hardly keep up. And the hits keep coming with DICTATOR CIRCUS. Bassist Ibuki and drummer Tatsuya have both announced their departure from the group, followed by the band’s hiatus. Ibuki left the group on September 2 and will be retiring from the music scene altogether. Tatsuya will take his leave on December 22, after which the band will go on hiatus. We will be sure to update you as things develop.
And now, one for the injured list. Sel’m drummer MANJ” will have to sit out for awhile following surgery for a herniated disc. They don’t know how long he will be out, but in the meantime, you may see a familiar face sitting in for him. Ex-DEATHGAZE drummer Naoki will be playing as support until MANJ” returns.
Europe will once again be getting some love from SuG starting in November. The group has announced a seven stop tour that will hit Germany, France, England, Russia, and Finland. Tickets go on sale September 16 through their respective venues, so check out their homepage for details and grab your tickets fast.
LIPLICH have announced the release of a new single followed by a twelve stop tour through Japan. 7 Die Dio releases October 28 in two types and the one-man tour starts on November 3 at Uwara Narcis. Word is, these shows are already starting to sell out, so if you are in the area and want to check them out, get your tickets quick before they’re gone!
Interesting and exciting news for fans of ONE OK ROCK. The group have announced the release of their latest album 35xxxv in the US on September 25. And, that’s not all. All 15 tracks will be re-recorded and sung in English. The release also includes two bonus tracks not found on the original Japanese release.
GREIVA have announced the release of yet another one-track single on October 14. Titled Fuminshou, the disc will run you 1000 yen and will be released in limited quantities. I don’t know how I feel about this one-song-at-a-time thing…
Supergroup KEEL have announced the release of their second mini-album, R’lyeh on October 7 followed by a short one-man tour running October 7-10. The album includes 6 tracks and costs 2700 yen.
